Dressmaker collar compatibility

If a collar will not attach, the bodice is the problem. Here is which bodices take which collars.

Why can't I add a collar in Dressmaker?

Some collars only attach to bodices with a matching neckline. The Gothic Collar and the shirt collars (Notched Shirt, Open Shirt, Oversized Wing) need a deep-V bodice: Double Breasted, Princess V, V Neck Yoked Shirt, Waterfall or Wrap. Vivian's Widow's Peak and Viper collars need an off-shoulder or strapless line: Aurora, Off-Shoulder Begonia, Straight Begonia, Strapless, Sweetheart or Viper. If a collar is greyed out or does nothing, switch the bodice first. If the collar is missing entirely, it is probably still locked behind a client's friendship star; search it in the pattern list. The rules below come from a player guide and match the questions on the Steam forums.
